Analog Man was selected to appear in the Paris Lift Off Online Film Festival in November 2018. This is the first time the film has appeared in a festival.
The film was shot in January 2017 and I traveled back to Los Angeles from Melbourne to show him the final film in July of that year. Check out Sanders Chase’s reaction to seeing the film for the first time.
Had the extraordinary privilege to film Think Inc.’s debate between Dr. Cornel West & Douglas Murray in August 2018. I was hired to document the event for a feature documentary. https://thinkinc.org.au/westmurray/
In July 2017, production completed on Analog Man. The short film is a portrait of Sanders Chase, the owner and operator of The Record Collector, the oldest record establishment in Los Angeles. For over forty years, Chase and his Archivist, Henry manage an archive of a half a million records. With an encyclopedic knowledge of music and a massive ego, Chase has become as infamous for challenging anyone who crosses his threshold.
